COURSE OBJECTIVES

This specialized DNS course is designed for healthcare professionals, golf coaches, strength and conditioning specialists, and movement professionals seeking to enhance performance and injury prevention in golfers through the principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization.

Rooted in the developmental kinesiology concepts from the Prague School of Rehabilitation, this course applies DNS methodology specifically to the biomechanics and functional demands of the golf swing. Participants will learn how to assess and correct dysfunctional movement patterns, improve core stability, and optimize joint centration to enhance swing efficiency, power transfer, and overall performance.

Through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on lab sessions, attendees will:

  • Understand the principles of DNS and developmental motor patterns relevant to golf.

  • Analyze the golf swing through the lens of functional joint centration and dynamic stability.

  • Learn DNS assessment strategies for common compensations and asymmetries seen in golfers.

  • Apply DNS corrective strategies and exercises tailored to various stages of golf training and rehabilitation.

  • Integrate DNS concepts into training programs for golfers of all skill levels.

Whether working with amateur or elite golfers, this course equips practitioners with the tools to elevate athletic performance, prevent injury, and build a foundation of resilient movement.

Prerequisites: Prior exposure to DNS concepts or completion of DNS Exercise Course Part I is recommended but not required.
